Graffiti art

This wall is just around the corner from my son’s home in Cape Town. I just love the humour in this picture. The artist has painted this young African mum with a baby on her back and a can of spray paint in her hand, a very unlikely combination!

Rhino

Recently my son visited Nairobi, Kenya and brought me back this beautiful, colorful rhino. Amazingly it is made from recycled flipflops found on the beaches and creates employment for people who create the sculptures. Take a look at their website for more  www.theffrc.com
