Product Description

The hats measure 12 inches( 30 cms ) + - at the widest part.  These beautiful Zulu Hats have a frame of handwoven grasses which are covered with a particular fabric that is woven with cotton thread to create the design. Every hat is unique in that each artist weaves her own design.

They can be displayed on a wall or a stand as part of a themed interior.  A lot of the young Zulu women wear them as a fashion statement, some even have the pure white ones as part of a wedding ensemble. Available in a wide range of colours, just let me know what you’re looking for.

I think it’s of the utmost importance only to sell art that is benefiting the artists. All Zulu Hats on this website are made by local (KwaZulu/Natal, South Africa) artists who are
empowering themselves through art.

Our Zulu Hats cost $40.00 each, plus postage. Postage is $12.50 per hat.

All Zulu Hats can be returned within 30 days if you are not fully satisfied with your purchase and a full refund will be given.
